Lights Show

This Saturday my husband and I went to see the lights show at Nathan Philips Square.

It was amazing. There was probably more than two thousand people.

Then after we waited for an hour, the lights show began.

It was like magic. I don't know how, but the old building was changing its colour. First it looked like it was covered by ice. Then it looked like a pazzle.
I never seen anything like that.

The show continued for about 10minutes. So we went to have a coffee. When we left Tim Hortons we heard fireworks, so we started running, but we were late. We didn't see it. But we heard it well.

After the firewarks all the people started moving, so we left.
It was a very nice evening.

My friend`s Birthday.

It was my friend’s Birthday at one of the pubs in Toronto. He invited many Russian friends, so only we were at this place. At the beginning we congratulated Petya, and then we started dancing. There was the pool and I enjoyed the play on it. Everything was very nice, however, it was surprising how local residents celebrate birthdays. The way of celebrating is very different from Russian traditions. People just invite guests and they don`t prepare food or drinks. All guests have to pay for their own drinks and entertain themselves. That is why I don’t feel satisfied at all the parties i visit.

Why I came to Canada

It was in Russia. I was in 6th grade,and I met Oleg. He was my classmate. We were friends for two years, and then he went to Cyprus. I graduated from my high school in Russia, and Oleg graduated from high school in Cyprus. Time passed by, and I went to university in Russia. Oleg entered York Univesity in Toronto, Canada. For a long time we didn't see each other.

One day, we met in a pizza place, but I was no longer a little girl. I was a university student. When he left, we kept in touch by msn, He came back to Russia on his holidays. This went on for three years.

This summer he came back to Russia to marry me and took me to Toronto. This is how I ended up in Toronto. If it was not for Oleg, I would never came to Canada at all.

Visit to IKEA store

My husband and I went to IKEA on last Saturday. We needed some things for our home. You know there are all what you need for home in IKEA. When we just came in, we felt a new year`s mood in there. There were many Christmas trees and there were shining and lighting. When you see this beauty, you want to buy present’s and Christmas toys. As a result, we bought more than we planed. Overall IKEA store is made in way that you can buy what you need and what you see. You see, you like it, so you buy it. IKEA has good sales technique. Because products are show in a room-like setting, it `s very easy to see and try it. There for, IKEA has many customers.
My husband and I like IKEA, and now we are enjoying our purchases from IKEA store.
